This Frigidaire GLFH21F8HB is an Energy Star® compliant, upright freezer and one of the few freezers that comes in a stylish BLACK finish.
It is fitted with automatic alerts and a Lock with Pop Out Key.
This well illuminated freezer, which has a Soft Freeze Zone also has a range of StoreMore tilt out, adjustable door bins and even comes with a shelf that is tailor made for Pizza Boxes!
This is a Freezer that has some FLEXIBLE STORAGE OPTIONS which enable you to organize your freezer to your requirements. The freezer door comes with StoreMore ADJUSTABLE DOOR BINS which can be repositioned to your convenience and they are tilt out bins, making it much easier to access the contents. For those of you that are Pizza lovers there is a SHELF that is ideal for those boxes of Pizza! You will not be left in the dark if you have inadvertently left the freezer door ajar as you are AUTOMATIC ALERTED when the interior temperature rises. There is an exterior LOCK and POP OUT KEY, which is combined with the temperature controls and is conveniently placed on the exterior of the freezer There will be no more impossibly hard ice cream to decant with the convenient SOFT FREEZE ZONE, which remains a little warmer than the rest of the freezer for this purpose. The BRIGHT LIGHTING in the GLFH21F8HB give you excellent illumination throughout the interior of the freezer cabinet. Being Energy Star® compliant you can be sure that you will be saving a considerable amount on your fuel costs as well has having a freezer that is ECO friendly. This is also a self defrosting freezer as it has the useful FROST FREE feature. This is one of the few ALL Freezers that is offered in an alternative color. The one reviewed here is the BLACK Frigidaire GLFH21F8HB and it also comes in a WHITE GLFH21F8HW finish. The stylish door is a ELEGANT CURVED shape that is part of the “Gallery’ series. It has hidden hinges and a self colored GRAB HANDLE, as well as an smart exterior temperature display. Total Volume: 20 5 Cu. Ft. A number of customers were pleased with this ECONOMY freezer which is reasonable priced but has a range of good features that are not always found in freezer only cabinets. The FROST FREE defrost system was a big plus with a number of customers as was the ENERGY STAR® status of this freezer as it makes a considerable saving on energy costs. Customers were in general pleased with the ADJUSTABLE SHELVING, baskets and the fact that there is place for TALL ITEMS in the freezer. A number of customers were delighted to be able to have a COLOR CHOICE as not every one wants to have a white freezer which tends to be the main color that freezers are offered in. The outside temperature and LOCK was highly praised by a number of customers and having the temperature set on the outside was also applauded. A number of satisfied customers commented that the ENERGY STAR® was a plus in keeping the costs of running a freezer low. Is was commented that this was a QUIET running freezer and a number were delighted with the STYLISH LOOKS of this unit.There were a number of complaints that the freezer was NOT WELL MADE and had some FLIMSY parts, such as the LOCK and PLASTIC Key.
