This model is a pain.
Water stopped coming after 2 years of service.
When I talked to GE customer service, they are not ready to accept the issue.
You can find tons of complains of water pipe freezing or lower section of refrigerator freezing the vegetables.

Some of the customers could get the repair kit free on calling at 1-800-386-1215. But it all depends, the kind of representative you get on line.
I never got the answer right.

My experience with GE is not friendly and it is so called Made in US. Now I hear GE microwaves with all kinds of problems , even blasting when turned on.

I stopped buying any GE product.
