GE Wine Center Glass and Stainless PWR04FANBS (29 Bottle Capacity)

Digital Temperature Display

Digital Temperature Display

Our wine cooler came with our loft when we bough it back in 2003-2004 and we didn't have much say in which model to get.

As a matter of fact this is the first wine cooler we have owned and we love it.

If I was to choose two pros about this model would be the fact that it is roomy enough to fit even a case of soda in it if you need to and the lock, so you can keep the little ones out of it.

The two cons would be the placement of the control buttons on the front where children are tempted to "adjust" the temperature a lot and the fact that it does not feature an audible alarm so you can be alerted if the door has been left open too long. Both safety concerns with small children.

First of all, we like the look of it, a bit understated, no flashy digital displays, just glass and stainless steel front. There is a Digital Display Of The Temperature posted on the top front part but it fits the frame of the cooler.

It is a very roomy appliance and can fit up to 29 bottles in it, with 5 adjustable and removable metal racks. It has a red wine temperature adjusting button as well as a white wine setting, which we hardly ever change.

You can also turn the light feature on and off with a delay timer as well as lock the wine cooler, which is pretty handy when you have small children. On a scale of 1 to 5 I would give this model a 4, maybe a 4.5

Pros
  • very roomy
  • lock
  • digital display

    Cons

  • badly placed control button
  • no door alarm
