LG GL-245TMG4 Top-Freezer Refrigerator (capacity 230 liters)

I have been using this refrigerator model for the last 2 years.It works smoothly without any problem. LG GL-245TMG4 is a nice product giving value for money.

It is energy saver with 4 stars BEE ratings.This refrigerator is wonderful in look,design and built.It has got metallic finish which I like very much.

It is less susceptible to scratches than the powder coated products. This made me to purchase this piece. It is double door with capacity 230 litres, egg rack, door cooling, deodorizer, automatic defrosting mechanism, multi-air flow system, chiller tray, front access defrost tray and anti germ door gasket.

It has got enough space, 230 liters, for a family of 4-5 persons (I guess). Mine is small, 4 persons, so it is well suited for me. Since I have not faced any problem with the refrigerator so far, since Aug 2007 till date, and the cooling is excellent… I will definitely recommend this.

lower compartment not getting cool NEW

I too have the same problem. the lower compartment is not getting cooled, where as ice forms in the freezer.

I have Purchase this fridge in 2009. Was all well for first 1.5 yrs and now its stopped cooling the lower compartment.. calling LG Customer care center multiple times.. every month i am calling service center and person is coming but all in vain..i am paying him every time but No permanent solution available with him

Cooling not upto mark.. Ice formation stopped NEW

Gotcha this fridge in 2008. Was all well for first 4 yrs and now its stopped cooling the lower comparment.. Also the ice compartment doesnt not freezed enuf to hold up the ice..
caling LG CUstomer care center multiple times..
in vain.. got a paid private service for the same.

Problems : Doube door LG Refrigerator, Model – GL245TMG4 NEW

Hi,
I purchased a Double Door refrigerator on 03 Jan 2008.
Now a days I am facing the following problems
i) The Lower compartment is not getting cool. Have to switch off 12 hrs per week to get it cool

ii) Ice cream in the deep freeze is melted.

iii) Too hot at the back end portion of the freeze. Have to feed water twice a day.

iv) Too much power consumption.
