Liebherr 2062 French Door Refrigerator (19.5 cu.ft)

We purchased our trailer in 2001 and it came with a Frigidaire refrigerator. I don’t know the model number since at only 8 years old the fan just stopped working. We ask some friends and they all said it should be a simple problem, but it wasn’t for us. No worries though we went to Lowe’s and bought my, I think very unique refrigerator.

Even though it was priced slightly under 1,000 dollars we are still paying for it. There is plenty of space in the freezer, but it is harder to get things from the back of the freezer. I’m sure it was easier with a top freezer fridge. Although, there is the same amount of space in this freezer as in the other one.

I would like to have more room in the door, but I do have moveable shelves. I‘m able to store up to 8 gallons of milk across the bottom, but we never do. I did put our turkey and ham there to thaw a week before the big dinner, which in itself is a blessing, it was always hard to find room before.

There are a couple things I don’t like with it though it makes and loud pop when it kicks on, and I wish it had an ice maker. Nevertheless I enjoy owning this Maytag model.

- My kitchen looks stylish and sleek
- I enjoy being different and this model is out of the ordinary.

- With the price it should have had an ice maker
- The noise is definitely a problem

A wonderful German-built refrigerator.

Liebherr 2062 The Liebherr 2062 is a wonderful German-built refrigerator.

It has only been available in the United States for a little over a year. We were lucky enough to be one of the first to get one.

It has a lot of the features of much more expensive refrigerators (like the SubZero) without their cost! This is a 36 inch wide refrigerator.

It is a refrigerator with convenient Double Doors Above and Two Freezer Doors Below.

This is a Counter Width refrigerator and it looks very attractive in our kitchen.
The fridge at first seems shallow (it is my first counter depth fridge) but once I got used to it I loved the shallow depth. Stuff doesn't get lost in the no man's land in the back of the shelves anymore. And I can actually see what's in my fridge!

It has a Stainless Steel Finish. It looks beautiful but it is a real pain in the you know what to keep clean.

The inside is Glass and Enamel and is very easy to keep clean.

The Liebherr is one of the most energy efficient refrigerators on the market.

It has Two Separate Compressors (one for the fridge and one for the freezer) much like the more expensive SubZero.

It also has Xenon Lighting.

The freezer drawers are also convenient. Easy to access. Smooth in operation.
The top one includes an icemaker (no in door ice dispenser on this baby, they waste energy and are prone to failure). They also have convenient dividers.

  • energy efficiency
  • attractiveness,
  • keeps food fresh longer
  • excellent internal capacity
  • superb features

  • cost,
  • hard to keep exterior clean Overall 5 STARS
