Brand: SPT IM-120B The SPT Ice Maker has to be the worst piece of junk I have ever came across.

For the 180 dollars I paid for this machine, I wasn't expecting the greatest but come on. It takes this machine hours to make ice which isn't good if you need a lot.

It said that it could make 26 pounds of ice in a day, which should be enough for everyday use, but I got this for family events like Christmas and the Thanksgiving. It makes no where near the amount it says. I got maybe 15 pounds in a day which is a huge difference between what it says it can do and what it does.

To try to be on the bright side, I did like the simple design that blends in instead of standing out in the kitchen. That's what the fridge, stove, and oven is for. It can sit on a counter or under it since you don't have to have a hose to drain the condensation. You have to fill it since it doesn't have a hose to it but it is suppose to be portable so I understand that.

Thou 24 pounds is not portable for older people. I understand that that is the normal weight for these machine for what they do but portable it is not. I returned this thing a couple weeks after I got it cause it almost ruined my fireworks party.

Overall, I would tell people to spend the extra money and get something by chef magic if your broke. Maytag is a good product if you have lots of money. Stay away from this cheap piece of junk.

It doesn't stand out like a sore thumb.

It doesn't require a drain pipe so you can put it anywhere.

Cons

Poor ice cube making speed.

Is not good for large events like Christmas.
